Förlag drar in böcker som bygger pa lögner….i utlandet!!!

Ärliga förlag i utlandet drar in böcker som bygger pa lögner och begär ersättning fran agent och författare. Detta kan inte Piratförlaget göra da Liza äger en del av förlaget, sa pengarna borde rimligtvis utbetalas till oss som har blivit lurade. Hela förlaget har dragits ner i skiten av hennes lögner och även om de har en del bra författare (inte Markljug) sa kan jag inte med att köpa ngt fran dem eftersom jag vet att det sponsrar hon som ljuger och fortsätter att ljuga. Tänk om det fungerade likadant i Sverige, dvs pa ett korrekt och hederligt vis. Nedan kommer fran DN (mina understrykningar och kommentar inom parentes).

Litterär lögn är ett populärt gebit i dessa dagar. (Hm, vad syftar artikelförfattaren pa matro (min anteckning)) I helgen meddelade det amerikanska förlaget Berkley Books att man ställer in utgivningen av boken ”Angel at the Fence” av Herman Rosenblat. Boken presenterades som författarens memoarer och skildrade bland annat hur Rosenblat träffade sin fru i ett nazistiskt koncentrationsläger. Den skulle ha släppts i dagarna och har redan hyllats av bland and­ra Oprah Winfrey, uppger AP.
I det längsta försvarade förlaget boken, men till slut blev vittnesmålen från vänner och familj om Herman Rosenblats fabricerade minnen så många att förlaget fick krypa till korset. Nu kräver Berkley Books tillbaka alla utbetalade ersättningar från författaren och hans agent.
Även om kärlekshistorien är påhittad var Herman Rosenblat en lägerfånge i Buchenwald.
Nyligen tvingades författaren James Frey gå ut och göra avbön i tv efter att hans historia i ”A Million Little Pieces” visat sig vara påhittad, trots att författaren hävdat motsatsen. Enligt AP har förlaget Penguin tvingats bryta kontrakten med två författare bara i år.

Sweden a democracy?

Well, that’s the question one poses after seeing how media is covering up and protecting Liza Marklund after the scandal about her scam book about a battered woman. Reporters do not bring up the subject because they are stopped by their hierarchy!!! Sweden is apparantly the new Russia where power and money rules over the truth. I feel lika I’m in an episode of the X-files: The truth is out there! And it is, thanks to the internet.

But when it comes to Swdish media there is a huge cover-up:

A tv-channel (Tv 4) stops its reporters from investigating into the story. Jonas Gummesson (tv4) who is in a power-position refuses to transmit the scoop one of his reporters has done. With no explanation. Later we find out that he is a friend of Marklund’s and has borrowed her app. in Stockholm during his divorce and her villa in Spain.

Newspapers:

Expressen: Marklund works for Expressen and so does her daughter so forget about it. They did run an article, but only in LM’s favour.

Aftonbladet: Nobody understood their silence at first. Now it is clear that they had counted on Marklund to save them from a financial disaster with her latest crappy book which they have bought the rights to in order to sell it with the paper. This deal was obviously made before the truth about Marklund’s ”true-story” books came out.

Dagens Nyheter: Their highest responsible is in the comittee of a certain publishing house- yeah you guessed right, the one that published the ”true-story-books”; Piratförlaget.

Something stinks in the Swedish media, and like in China during the Olympics, the internet is the only way to discuss the truth. I am so disgusted by how power and money is more important than ethics and the truth!

How to write a bestseller and make a lot of money!!!

You could ask Liza Marklund, swedish authour with books translated to several different languages. I think her response will be:

Find a phycologically vulnerable person whom you can exploit in order to use her ”story” as a true-story-fiction. Any theme possible, this time it was about a beaten woman who had to escape from the country (hello, we’re talking Sweden-there’s a social system for christ’s sake). Then proclaim yourself to be the ”Messiah” of battered women, get sympathies and draw media’s attention towards you.  And there you go…..

The story of Marklund is a story of a swedish authour with mediocre talents when it comes to writing fiction who ends up being desperate. She could never have succeded if it hadn’t been for her so-called involvement in the fight for battered women.  And yeah, her ”true-story”-bestseller…

Thanks to another swedish reporter; Monica Antonsson (search google, she recently published book and has a blog open, only in swedish but perhaps that might change if she gets some international feed-back), the delibarate exaggerations and twists Marklund created has been brought to light.  And what we are left with is a father who has lost his daughter to a paranoid mother (who is probably mentally ill) and a reporter who does nothing to intervene but on the contrary add to the paranoia by acknowledging the existence of a menace. Now, how sick isn’t that?

So, to all you people who comes across a ”Liza Marklund” book on the shelf, put it in the garbage where it belongs.  It might sound a bit harsh, but I am seriously disappointed because I read the story and I thought it had to be true since there was a serious reporter with a publishing house confirming the story…. In swedish it’s called ”Gömda” which means ”hidden”… Now it is Marklund who has gone hiding in Spain, refusing to talk to the media…

Första gången… någon gång måste ju vara det….

OK, har börjat blogga sent i livet. Men det finns faktiskt vissa som inte bloggar och aldrig skulle kunna tänka sig att göra det av olika andedningar.     Jag var en av dem.

Varför blogga? Är det inte lite ungdomsvarning på det? Jag menar se mig- jag finns – tonårstankar osv.  Det är det säkert. Och eftersom jag är långt ifrån tonåren (låångt, suck) så kändes det patetiskt att börja skriva dagbok på nätet. Särskilt eftersom jag inte för ngn dabok annars. Och alla som säger ”jag gör det för min egen skull”, stämmer det egentligen? Liknande debatter har förts om silikonbröstimplantat och smink.  Är det inte uppmärksamhet de vill ha? Vissa kanske, och det är väl inget fel med det. (Var tolerant nu – inre förmanelse). Men jag hör inte till dem. Och jag har upptäckt (när jag kom över min blogg-fobi och faktiskt började läsa vissa bloggar) att det finns människor som faktiskt bloggar för att dra uppmärksamhet till händelser/företeelser snarare än till sin egna lilla person. Och det är en helt annan sak. Då blir det helt plötsligt intressant… Och det hoppas jag att min blogg kommer att vara med. God kväll värld!

I haven’t yet decided whether this blog uoght to be in English or Swedish or both. It feels ridiculous to write in English since the main subhects I will discuss will be swedish (I think), on the other hand there are some people I would like to take part of this. Hmmm, I’ll give it some thought. Good night.
